The Hustle to Bill O'Reilly: 'STFU, and And Get Out of Harlem'

Good Lord, am I sick and tired of this jackass Bill O'Reilly and the rest of the Fox News crew.

You may have been privy to this a-hole's comments that he was "surprised there was no difference" between Sylvia's restaurant and any eatery in the predominantly white suburbs though Sylvia's is "run by blacks."

No, you pompous bastard, we're not all loud, disrespectful cretins.

Here is his full quote:

"I couldn't get over the fact that there was no difference between Sylvia's restaurant and any other restaurant in New York City. I mean, it was exactly the same, even though it's run by blacks, primarily black patronship..."

He then further inserted his foot into his mouth later, saying to NPR's Juan Williams:

"There wasn't one person in Sylvia's who was screaming, 'M-Fer, I want more iced tea.' You know, I mean, everybody was -- it was like going into an Italian restaurant in an all-white suburb in the sense of people were sitting there, and they were ordering and having fun. And there wasn't any kind of craziness at all."

Are you kidding? Should there be a difference?! I bet Juan Williams wanted to backhand slap BO so badly it hurt.

So, I guess to O'Reilly we're all barbarians at the Central Park gates at 110th Street?

How insulting is such commentary to legions of patrons -- myself included -- and the owners of that fine establishment? Being open since 1962, one would (rightly) think that Sylvia's Restaurant of Harlem has learned a thing or two about positioning itself as both a fine dining establishment, and simultaneously a reflection of its down home roots.

But no, on national television and radio, the restaurant, the patrons, and by extension the fantastic cultural bastion that is Harlem, have all been reduced to "oh, look at how well the negroes behave in public. They don't even scream indoors...they use their inside voice..."

Well, here's something for you in my outside voice: "F*** you, M-Fer.""

Couldn't have said this better myself...I love it! I keep saying that foot-in-mouth is a disease in dire need of a cure.

Maybe Billy O is gulley. Spent too many after shoot hours at chicken shacks, bodegas and whatever the other urban equivalents to Chicago's Harold Chicken. Considering his crass tone and assnine commentary on air, I can't imagine him being genuinely welcome in those "nice suburban eateries." Here's another m-fer lob to Billy O. Ass.

Hear hear!

O'Reilly gully? LOL! I'm surprised that any of NYC's finer establishments allow him indoors, given his pompous arrogance.

I might be more inclined to ...tolerate... BO, if I didn't feel like he was a egotistical, disingenuous, loud-mouthed jackass. I have nothing but contempt for people such as O'Reilly, and that other jerk Sean Hannity. Not only do they play fast and loose with the truth, it always seems like they have a destructive agenda.

I mean, for real, how productive can it be for the stated "goal" of a "color-blind" America, for one to openly issue a race-baiting insult to a great example of achieving the American dream, which Sylvia's is. Doing so while simultaneously slandering her patrons, who themselves are living some measure of the American dream in being able to afford to eat at a great restaurant, is a feat. But then, insinuating that one should expect loud, boorish behavior from African-American restaurant goers? That's like the hidden racist trifeca.

In honor of Bill, I'm going to walk into Olive Garden in Teaneck, NJ and yell out 'M-Fer, I want more bread sticks!'
