Bob Johnson And The Foot In His Mouth

Bob Johnson needs to shut the hell up.

It's that simple.

He took a sideways swipe at Barack Obama commenting on the Senator's admitted use of drugs, while juxtaposing that time in his life against what Senator Hillary Clinton and her husband, the former President Bill Clinton, were doing to advance the state of black America:

"And to me, as an African-American, I am frankly insulted that the Obama campaign would imply that we are so stupid that we would think Hillary and Bill Clinton, who have been deeply and emotionally involved in black issues since Barack Obama was doing something in the neighborhood –  and I won't say what he was doing, but he said it in the book –  when they have been involved."

He then attempted to backpedal, saying that he was only referring to Mr. Obama's community organizing. I think not.  The man whose former television property did more to set back African-American progress than anything since slavery ought not speak about anything related to helping the brown peoples of the African diaspora living in the United States.

He's a man without principle who enriched himself to the tune of about a billion-and-a-half dollars, while making his Black Entertainment Television a haven for ass-shaking, ignorance, misogyny and minstrelsy.

This is his latest effort at proving he'll shill for dumb politics, especially since he became a wealthy negro.

While Hill and Bill were surely fighting the good liberal fight, to imply that Obama was some drugged-out junkie preying on the community seems to me to be a bit like calling an overeater the cause of world hunger.

Methinks Mr. Johnson was playing the oh-so-willing waterBOY with his comments. He's certainly entitled to his opinion, but I'll just say, he appears very house niggerish, if you ask me.
