Stop. Drop. Shut'em down, open up shop...

The mother of DMX's love child on Friday was awarded some $1.5 million in damages, so says WINS-AM radio in New York. Seems that D didn't think enough of the hearing to actually show up, so the judge awarded the young lady $518,400 for compensatory damages and $1 million for punitive damages for his cavalier attitude.

The dog claimed that the Maryland woman, a Monique Wayne, raped him in a D.C. hotel room in October, 2003, which resulted in the birth of a little girl. DMX, born Earl Simmons, was quoted as saying, and yes this is a quote:

"She raped me...That might sound like some bullshit...is that the only thing in the world that's not possible? Because when I sleep, my dick be out. DNA says it is mine. I don't know... If I did fuck, I would remember. It ain't like she's a pretty girl."
For real?? Yo, the sheer ludicrousness, no lemme get urban and ethnic for a moment, the ludicrosity of that whole quote is mind-boggling.

Y'all gon make me loose my mind up in 'chere, up in 'chere...

Man, I've heard everything. My dick be out too, when I'm sleep, but damn if I don't know if some woman is riding it!

He really could have come up with a better excuse, like maybe he went to a sperm bank, donated his seed, she was the recipient, and somehow she learned he was the father of her child. Anything would be better than claiming he was raped...Lame DMX, lame.

Perhaps it's time to neuter the Dog?

No, methinks that da dog hasn't been taking his mood stabilizers. Also, a follow up psychological evaluation may be in order. Where's his therapist in all of this mess?
