Obama is square in the middle of a race conundrum: accept his blackness while agreeing with the pastor, and shore up that constituency, or deny Reverend Wright and his statements while going pro-America from here on out, to attract and keep non-black voters for whom history is nothing but an interesting, , if yet fully-unexplored footnote.

Until we deal with race and the perceptions that it engenders, Sean Bell's death will be in vain.
The bottom line is that the Pennsylvania outcome does not change dynamic of this lengthy primary.
This past weekend, I shot Tasha, an aspiring model -- and it was another marathon session, resulting in nearly 300 frames over several hours. Many were good, some were fantastic, and some were, simply, duds.

This is the kickoff of something new we're starting, here at the 'Hustle. Today is the first Photographic Monday. Each Monday, I'll feature an image that I shot, the rationale behind it, and what went into the end product. I'll not be too technical, but just enough to get the point across.
As expected the instrumentation is musically solid, with no missteps, and conveys the characteristics listeners had come to expect from Paisley Park artists. What's not expected is how Sheila E.'s relatively little, relatively uninspiring voice works so well on this track.
Global food prices, based on United Nations records, rose 35 percent in the year to the end of January, markedly accelerating an upturn that began, gently at first, in 2002. Rice prices in Thailand, the world's largest producer, doubled last year alone.

At its heart, Black Liberation Theology makes its focus the thought of salvation on earth. The endgame of the theology is that one's reward might lie in heaven, but that the Bible expressly promotes the position that peoples of the earth are supposed to live in peace and freedom in the here and now.
