The bottom line is this: the candidates agreed on ground rules. They played by those rules. And Barack Obama has won by those rules. This isn't some anti-feminist conspiracy, nor is this situation one forced on Mrs. Clinton. This situation is a result of the rules she and her own people agitated for.

Hillary Clinton's desperate. And in her desperation, she's likely to drive a wedge between Democrats and embolden those of ill-will. And such behaviors may well cost Democrats the election.
"Just Be Good To Me" is one of the many songs of 1983-85 that found incredible success in formulaic, but still fresh-sounding music. Damn, I miss those days...
The moral of today's Photo Monday is that you should never give up on an image prematurely if ever. Almost all your images have some redeeming quality if only you're willing to look for it.

Can a Black -- man or woman -- be president of these United States?
I think this image caught the essence of the show and gives the viewer an idea of the intimate environment that was apparent during this segment of the performance.
I'm back on my Minneapolis Sound kick, and dug up a classic that was the proverbial "one hit" from a "one hit wonder."
I had to repost this, due to some server issues. Nonetheless, There are some songs that are plain timeless, and will get rocked by our kids' kids. One of the very best of those timeless tracks is today's flashback joint, Genius of Love, which became enormously influential throughout the '80s and '90s.
I have a feeling It's going to be a long, hot summer for Obama supporters.
It was a good fight, hard-fought, but truthfully, the fight is over.

We need long-term solutions, rather than more least-common-denominator Washington chicanery around taxes.
It's perhaps the most treasured one I've shot so far, for a number of reasons.
The song is poignant for this investigation of obvious, yet apparently not so much so, breakup. It also represents the high-water mark for the Doobie Brothers, whose evolution from a mellow, post-hippie boogie band to a slick, soul-inflected pop band is best exemplified by this song.
